Word of Yahweh

Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt Yahweh?

They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:

But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted El in the desert.

And they tempted El in their heart by asking meat for their lust.

Yea, they turned back and tempted Elohim, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

Yet they tempted and provoked the most high Elohim, and kept not his testimonies:

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted Yahweh, saying, Is Yahweh among us, or not?

And they said unto them, Yahweh look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt Yahweh.

And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt Elohim are even delivered.

And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would that that we had died in the land of Egypt or would that we had died in this wilderness

Because all those men which have seen my splendour, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;

And the people spake against Elohim, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

Yahshua said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt Yahweh thy Elohim.

And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.

And Yahshua answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt Yahweh thy Elohim.

Now therefore why tempt ye Elohim, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of Yahweh? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.

Neither let us tempt the Messiah, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed of serpents.

Ye shall not tempt Yahweh your Elohim, as ye tempted him in Massah.

And at Taberah, and at Massah, and at Kibrothhattaavah, ye provoked Yahweh to wrath.

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto Yahweh.
