For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will slay all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Yahweh.
For Yahweh will pass through to strike down the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to strike you down.
Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever.
The burden of Egypt. Behold, Yahweh rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the elohim of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd putteth on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
Yahweh of hosts, the Elohim of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their elohim, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:
But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen whither they come; and they shall know that I am Yahweh.
Yahweh will be terrible unto them: for he will famish all the elohim of the earth; and men shall worship him, every one from his place, even all the isles of the heathen.
And when they of Ashdod arose early on the morrow, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the earth before the ark of Yahweh. And they took Dagon, and set him in his place again.
Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give honour unto the Elohim of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your elohim, and from off your land.
