So we abode in the valley over against Bethpeor.
And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.
And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of Yahweh was kindled against Israel.
And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.
Your eyes have seen what Yahweh did because of Baalpeor: for all the men that followed Baalpeor, Yahweh thy Elohim hath destroyed them from among you.
