And as they spoke unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,

Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of Elohim in truth, neither carest thou for any man: for thou regardest not the person of men.

But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabba, and destroy Yahshua.

Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he taught the people in the temple, and announced the good news, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders,

And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his master. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Judah then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh there with lanterns and torches and weapons.

And Hanan the high priest, and Caiaphas, and John, and Alexander, and as many as were of the kindred of the high priest, were gathered together at Jerusalem.

Then the high priest rose up, and all they that were with him, which is the sect of the Sadducees, and were filled with indignation,

Now when the high priest and the captain of the temple and the chief priests heard these things, they much perplexed because of them wondering what this would come to.

Then went the captain with the officers, and brought them without violence: for they feared the people, lest they should have been stoned.

And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

And the word of Elohim increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.
