Word of Yahweh

Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? others think He seemeth to be a proclaimer of strange demons: because he preached unto them Yahshua, and the resurrection.

Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

That the Messiah should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should show light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Yahshua the resurrection from the dead.

And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Yahshua the Messiah.

Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.

We are fools for the Messiah's sake, but ye are wise in the Messiah; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after the Messiah.
