Word of Yahweh

And immediately the angel of Yahweh smote him, because he gave not Elohim the honor: and he was eaten of worms, and died.

And it came to pass that night, that the angel of Yahweh went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

And Yahweh sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his elohim, they that came forth of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see Eloah:

My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken, and become loathsome.

Not unto us, O Yahweh, not unto us, but unto thy name give honour, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.

And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will slay all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Yahweh.

For Yahweh will pass through to strike down the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to strike you down.

And it came to pass, that at midnight Yahweh struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

As yet exaltest thou thyself against my people, that thou wilt not let them go?

A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.

Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Sovereign Yahweh; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a El, I sit in the seat of Elohim, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not El, though thou set thine heart as the heart of Elohim:

Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am Elohim? but thou shalt be a man, and no El, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a mighty one, and not of a man.

But the angel of Yahweh by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he sitteth in the temple of Elohim, showing himself that he is Yahweh.

And it came to pass about ten days after, that Yahweh smote Nabal, that he died.
