Word of Yahweh

And Hezekiah prayed before Yahweh, and said, O Yahweh Elohim of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubim, thou art the Elohim, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

In the beginning Elohim created the heaven and the earth.

These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahweh Elohim made the earth and the heavens,

And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with Elohim and with men, and hast prevailed.

And he erected there an altar, and called it Elelohe-Israel.

And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, Yahweh, he is the Elohim; Yahweh, he is the Elohim.

And he said, Yahweh Elohim of Israel, there is no Elohim like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

Now therefore, O Yahweh our Elohim, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art Yahweh Elohim, even thou only.

And he returned to the man of Elohim, he and all his company, and came, and stood before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no Elohim in all the earth, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

And David went up, and all Israel, to Baalah, that is, to Kirjathjearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up thence the ark of Elohim Yahweh, that dwelleth between the cherubim, whose name is called on it.

And Jabez called on the Elohim of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me And Elohim granted him that which he requested.

And Asa cried unto Yahweh his Elohim, and said, Yahweh, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O Yahweh our Elohim; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O Yahweh, thou art our Elohim; let not man prevail against thee.

And said, O Yahweh Elohim of our fathers, art not thou Elohim in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.

Thou, even thou, art Yahweh alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things that are therein, the seas, and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

A Psalm of Asaph. Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubim, shine forth.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

Yahweh reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it: and Hezekiah went up unto the house of Yahweh, and spread it before Yahweh.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I Yahweh will hear them, I the Elohim of Israel will not forsake them.

Ye are my witnesses, saith Yahweh, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no El formed, neither shall there be after me.

Thus saith Yahweh the King of Israel, and his redeemer Yahweh of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no Elohim.

Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there an Eloah beside me? yea, there is no Rock; I know not any.

Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am El, and there is none else.

Ah Sovereign Yahweh behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:

So the people sent to Shiloh, that they might bring from thence the ark of the covenant of Yahweh of hosts, which dwelleth between the cherubim: and the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, were there with the ark of the covenant of Elohim.
