Word of Yahweh

And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of Yahweh, which David the king had made to praise Yahweh, because his mercy endureth for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.

Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:

It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking Yahweh; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised Yahweh, saying, Forhe is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of Yahweh;

And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the honour of Yahweh upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised Yahweh, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.

And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of Elohim.

And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of Elah, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.

Halleluyah. O give thanks unto Yahweh; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Yahweh will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Yahweh, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. To the chief Musician.

As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there: all my springs are in thee. A Song or Psalm for the sons of Korah, to the chief Musician upon Mahalath Leannoth.

Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

That chant to the sound of the viol, and invent to themselves instruments of musick, like David;

And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams' horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.
