O our Elohim, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.
Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember Yahweh thy Elohim, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As Yahweh liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
And thou, my master, O king, the eyes of all Israel are upon thee, that thou shouldest tell them who shall sit on the throne of my master the king after him.
And when the servant of the man of Elohim was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master how shall we do?
And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: Yahweh the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon.
And Jonathan said to the young man that bare his armour, Come, and let us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised: it may be that Yahweh will work for us: for there is no restraint to Yahweh to save by many or by few.
For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons cursed Elohim, and he restrained them not.
