Word of Yahweh

Then came Shemaiah the prophet to Rehoboam, and to the princes of Judah, that were gathered together to Jerusalem because of Shishak, and said unto them, Thus saith Yahweh, Ye have forsaken me, and therefore have I also left you in the hand of Shishak.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of Yahweh; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

But the word of Elohim came unto Shemaiah the man of Elohim, saying,

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the Elohim of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for Yahweh searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

But the word of Yahweh came to Shemaiah the man of Elohim, saying,

Now the acts of Rehoboam, first and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually.

And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; Yahweh is with you, while ye be with him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.

And the Spirit of Elohim came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith Elohim, Why transgress ye the commandments of Yahweh, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken Yahweh, he hath also forsaken you.

Yahweh will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.

Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken Yahweh thy Elohim, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Sovereign Yahweh of hosts.

And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of Yahweh? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith Yahweh.

Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

And it shall come to pass, when ye shall say, Wherefore doeth Yahweh our Elohim all these things unto us? then shalt thou answer them, Like as ye have forsaken me, and served strange elohim in your land, so shall ye serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
