Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on life everlasting, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother's house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.
One shall say, I am Yahweh's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto Yahweh, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because Yahweh is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.
Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they magnify Elohim for your professed subjection unto the good news of the Messiah, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto Yahweh thy Elohim, that I am come unto the country which Yahweh sware unto our fathers for to give us.
I give thee charge in the sight of Elohim, who quickeneth all things, and before the Messiah Yahshua, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession;
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in the Messiah Yahshua before the world began,
That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for Yahweh to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
But the Elohim of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal honour by the Messiah Yahshua, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
