And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;
If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
For I was an hungry, and ye gave me food: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of Yahweh in their third generation.
But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.
