Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and Yahweh said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.
And now, O Yahweh my Elohim, thou hast made thy servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child: I know not how to go out or come in.
For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
Which may go out before them, and which may go in before them, and which may lead them out, and which may bring them in; that the congregation of Yahweh be not as sheep which have no shepherd.
And the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him; and they feared the people: for they perceived that he had spoken this parable against them.
And David went out wheresoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants.
