Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of Elohim, that he may exalt you in due time:

Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.

Because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before Yahweh, when thou heardest what I spake against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, that they should become a desolation and a curse, and hast rent thy clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard thee, saith Yahweh.

And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus saith Yahweh Elohim of the Hebrews, How long wilt thou refuse to humble thyself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

And Moses besought Yahweh his Elohim, and said, Yahweh, why doth thy wrath grow hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Yahweh alone shall be exalted in that day.

Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain:

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Say unto the king and to the queen, Humble yourselves, sit down: for your principalities shall come down, even the crown of your beauty.

They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.

And all his fugitives with all his bands shall fall by the sword, and they that remain shall be scattered toward all winds: and ye shall know that I Yahweh have spoken it.

And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.

For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

For when we were yet without strength, in due time the Messiah died for the wicked.

Do we provoke the Sovereign to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste.

Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of Yahweh our Saviour;

Humble yourselves in the sight of Yahweh, and he shall lift you up.

Submit yourselves therefore to Elohim. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of Yahweh, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
