These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of Elohim.
Opening and alleging, that the Messiah must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Yahshua, whom I preach unto you, is the Messiah.
For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto honour, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.
Forasmuch then as the Messiah hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of the Messiah's sufferings; that, when his honour shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
