Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
Then certain philosophers of the Epicureans, and of the Stoicks, encountered him. And some said, What will this babbler say? others think He seemeth to be a proclaimer of strange demons: because he preached unto them Yahshua, and the resurrection.
For I am not ashamed of the good news of the Messiah: for it is the power of Yahweh unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
For after that in the wisdom of Elohim the world by wisdom knew not Elohim, it pleased Elohim by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Elohim: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
For our good news came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.
Looking unto Yahshua the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the torture stake, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.
For the word of Elohim is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
