These liars will be silenced forever! But with the anointing of a king I will dance and rejoice along with all his devoted lovers who trust in him.

The lovers of God will rejoice when they see this. Good men are glad when the evil ones are silenced.

“I myself have poured out my King on Zion, my holy mountain.”

Yahweh, because of your strength the king is strong. Look how he rejoices in you! He bursts out with a joyful song because of your victory!

At last their lying lips will be muted in their graves. For they are arrogant, filled with contempt and conceit as they speak against the godly.

If we had forsaken your holy name, wouldn’t you know it? You’d be right in leaving us. If we had worshiped before other gods, no one would blame you for punishing us. God, you know our every heart-secret. You know we still want you!

In that day, there will be five Egyptian cities that speak the language of Canaan and swear their allegiance to the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, and one will be called the City of the Sun.

I make this solemn oath to you in my own name; this word sent from my mouth in righteousness will not return unfulfilled: ‘Truly every knee will bow before me and every tongue will solemnly swear allegiance to me!’

For whoever pronounces a blessing on the earth will do so in the name of the God of Faithfulness. And whoever swears by an oath on the earth will invoke the name of the God of Faithfulness. The failures of the past will be forgotten; they will be hidden from my eyes.”

Therefore, may their children experience food shortages, and let them be killed by the sword. May death and warfare take away the men and youths, leaving the women as childless widows.

Now, we realize that everything the law says is addressed to those who are under its authority. This is for two reasons: So that every excuse will be silenced, with no boasting of innocence. And so that the entire world will be held accountable to God’s standards.

Now when God made a promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater than himself, he swore an oath on his own integrity to keep the promise as sure as God exists!
