The way I love you is like the way a servant wants to please his master, the way a maid waits for the orders of her mistress. We look to you, our God, with passionate longing to please you and discover more of your mercy and grace.

Escort me into your truth; take me by the hand and teach me. For you are the God of my salvation; I have wrapped my heart into yours all day long!

O God in Zion, to you even silence is praise! You who answers prayer, all of humanity comes before you with their requests.

I poured out my complaint to you, God. I lifted up my voice, shouting out for your help.

Behold—God is my salvation! I am confident, unafraid, and I will trust in you.” Yes! The Lord Yah is my might and my melody; he has become my salvation!

For Yahweh is the Lord of justice, faithful to keep his promises. Overwhelmed with bliss are all who will entwine their hearts in him, waiting for him to help them.

But those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.

We see it now. Our idolatrous worship on the high places and our noisy commotion on the mountains were nothing but delusions. Only you, Yahweh our God, can save us.

Yahweh is always good to all who trust in him, to the soul who searches for him.

Is it not from the decree of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?

Meanwhile, brothers and sisters, we must be patient and filled with expectation as we wait for the appearing of the Lord. Think about the farmer who has to patiently wait for the earth’s harvest as it ripens because of the early and latter rains.
