Surrender your anxiety. Be still and realize that I am God. I am God above all the nations, and I am exalted throughout the whole earth.

And realize what this really means— we have the privilege of worshiping Yahweh our God. For he is our Creator and we belong to him. We are the people of his pleasure.

Rise up and put your might on display! By your strength we will sing and praise your glorious power!

But the Lord will turn all their weapons of wickedness back on themselves, piercing their pride-filled hearts until they are helpless.

Lord God, be exalted as you soar throughout the heavens. May your shining glory be seen in the skies! Let it be seen high above over all the earth!

so they will know that you, and you alone, are Yahweh, the only Most High God exalted over all the earth!

The arrogant will be humbled and the pride of man brought low. Only one will be exalted in that day: Yahweh!

People’s arrogance will be conquered and brought low, and those proud of heart will be humiliated. Only one will be exalted in that day: Yahweh!

He will judge fairly between the nations and settle disputes among many peoples. They will beat the swords they used against each other into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. No nation will take up weapons against another, nor will they prepare for war anymore.

With justice the Lord Yahweh, Commander of Angel Armies, displays his greatness, and righteousness sets him apart as the holy God.

Then they will know that I am Yahweh when I set fire to Egypt and shatter all who support her.

In this way I will display my greatness and holiness and make myself known before many nations. Then they will acknowledge that I am Yahweh.”

I will knock the bow from your left hand and rip the arrows out of your right.

Yahweh spoke to Joshua, saying, “Don’t be afraid of them; by this time tomorrow, I, Yahweh, will have them all lying slain before Israel. After the battle, cripple their horses and burn their chariots.”

Afterward, Joshua crippled their horses and burned their chariots as Yahweh had commanded.
