But when they came to Jesus, they realized that he had already died, so they decided not to break his legs.

God will be your bodyguard to protect you when trouble is near. Not one bone will be broken.

They laughed at him, knowing for certain that she had died.

So the soldiers broke the legs of the two men who were nailed there.

But one of the soldiers took a spear and pierced Jesus’ side, and blood and water gushed out.
