The Passion Translation

Do not listen to them! Serve the king of Babylon and live a long life. Why should Jerusalem be destroyed?

“And now I, Yahweh, God of Israel, Commander God of Angel Armies, ask you: Why do you insist on heading for another disaster, one that will destroy every man, woman, and child in Judah? Why should you leave yourselves without a remnant?

And all at once, the dazzling glory of the God of Israel appeared! It looked like what I had seen in the Euphrates Valley.
