Gone will be their elaborate headdresses and ankle chains, their sashes, sachets, and charms.

Then they surrendered all the foreign gods they had as well as their earrings. Jacob buried them under the oak tree near Shechem.

Say to King Jehoiachin and his mother, “Come down from your high thrones and take a humble seat, for your glorious crown has tumbled off your heads.”

I gave you a nose ring and earrings and placed a sparkling crown on your head.

Their turbans and undergarments must all likewise be of linen. They are not to wear anything that makes them perspire.
