Blessed be the LORD, the God of our fathers, who put such a thing as this into the heart of the king, to beautify the house of the LORD that is in Jerusalem,

He turned their hearts to hate his people, to deal craftily with his servants.

And the angel said[2] to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb." And he said to me, "These are the true words of God."

Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants[3] and their brothers[4] should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.
