Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.

So Barnabas went to Tarsus to look for Saul,

And they did so, sending it to the elders by the hand of Barnabas and Saul.

And Barnabas and Saul returned from[2] Jerusalem when they had completed their service, bringing with them John, whose other name was Mark.

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."

But the Jews incited the devout women of high standing and the leading men of the city, stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and drove them out of their district.

Barnabas they called Zeus, and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker.

it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to refrain from working for a living?

my spirit was not at rest because I did not find my brother Titus there. So I took leave of them and went on to Macedonia.

But thanks be to God, who put into the heart of Titus the same earnest care I have for you.

As for Titus, he is my partner and fellow worker for your benefit. And as for our brothers, they are messengers[5] of the churches, the glory of Christ.

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and remained with him fifteen days.

And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy.

But even Titus, who was with me, was not forced to be circumcised, though he was a Greek.

and when James and Cephas and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given to me, they gave the right hand of fellowship to Barnabas and me, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.

Aristarchus my fellow prisoner greets you, and Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning whom you have received instructions -- if he comes to you, welcome him),

To Titus, my true child in a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
