And as soon as he came near the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, Moses' anger burned hot, and he threw the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain.

Now the man Moses was very meek, more than all people who were on the face of the earth.

But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother[2] will be liable to judgment; whoever insults[3] his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, 'You fool!' will be liable to the hell[4] of fire.

But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

And he looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." He stretched it out, and his hand was restored.

Do not be idolaters as some of them were; as it is written, "The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play."

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,

And I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets that you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.'

" 'Cursed be anyone who does not confirm the words of this law by doing them.' And all the people shall say, 'Amen.'
