And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

Jesus said to him, "If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me!"

So the saying spread abroad among the brothers[2] that this disciple was not to die; yet Jesus did not say to him that he was not to die, but, "If it is my will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?"

and said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven."

But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then at his coming those who belong to Christ.

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies[2] will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.[3]

And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.

It was also about these that Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, "Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones,

Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail[3] on account of him. Even so. Amen.

He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
