Let my prayer enter into thy presence; Incline thine ear unto my cry:
If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to cause him to swear, and he come and swear before thine altar in this house:
I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy words.
But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Bow down thine ear unto me; deliver me speedily: Be thou to me a strong rock, an house of defence to save me.
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; According to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to death;
Be merciful unto me, O Lord; For unto thee do I cry all the day long.
Yea, when I cry and call for help, he shutteth out my prayer.
