“Have you given the horse strength? Have you clothed his neck with thunder?

When she lifts herself on high, She scorns the horse and its rider.

Can you frighten him like a locust? His majestic snorting strikes terror.

At the blast of the trumpet he says, ‘Aha!’ He smells the battle from afar, The thunder of captains and shouting.

Strength dwells in his neck, And sorrow dances before him.

Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty,

He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man.

A horse is a vain hope for safety; Neither shall it deliver any by its great strength.
