And his leaders gave willingly to the people, to the priests, and to the Levites. Hilkiah, Zechariah, and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave to the priests for the Passover offerings two thousand six hundred from the flock, and three hundred cattle.

And all those who were around them encouraged them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

and whereas all the silver and gold that you may find in all the province of Babylon, along with the freewill offering of the people and the priests, are to be freely offered for the house of their God in Jerusalem—

And the daughter of Tyre will come with a gift; The rich among the people will seek your favor.

Then the leaders of Israel, the heads of their fathers’ houses, who were the leaders of the tribes and over those who were numbered, made an offering.

Now as they spoke to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees came upon them,

Then the captain went with the officers and brought them without violence, for they feared the people, lest they should be stoned.

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.

So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
