Many brought offerings to Jerusalem for the Lord and valuable gifts for Hezekiah king of Judah. From then on he was highly regarded by all the nations.

May his name endure forever; may it continue as long as the sun. Then all nations will be blessed through him, and they will call him blessed.

He will also invade the Beautiful Land. Many countries will fall, but Edom, Moab and the leaders of Ammon will be delivered from his hand.

Out of one of them came another horn, which started small but grew in power to the south and to the east and toward the Beautiful Land.

This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In those days ten people from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say, ‘Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you.’ ”

“You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord. “Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’

for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed,

It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.
