It must be prepared with oil on a griddle; bring it well-mixed and present the grain offering broken in pieces as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

They were in charge of the bread set out on the table, the special flour for the grain offerings, the thin loaves made without yeast, the baking and the mixing, and all measurements of quantity and size.

A Levite named Mattithiah, the firstborn son of Shallum the Korahite, was entrusted with the responsibility for baking the offering bread.

If one of them falls into a clay pot, everything in it will be unclean, and you must break the pot.

“ ‘A clay pot that the man touches must be broken, and any wooden article is to be rinsed with water.

If your grain offering is prepared on a griddle, it is to be made of the finest flour mixed with oil, and without yeast.

The son who is to succeed him as anointed priest shall prepare it. It is the Lord’s perpetual share and is to be burned completely.

“ ‘If they offer it as an expression of thankfulness, then along with this thank offering they are to offer thick loaves made without yeast and with olive oil mixed in, thin loaves made without yeast and brushed with oil, and thick loaves of the finest flour well-kneaded and with oil mixed in.

Every grain offering baked in an oven or cooked in a pan or on a griddle belongs to the priest who offers it,
