Then he shall take the bull outside the camp and burn it as he burned the first bull. This is the sin offering for the community.

Then the exiles who had returned from captivity sacrificed burnt offerings to the God of Israel: twelve bulls for all Israel, ninety-six rams, seventy-seven male lambs and, as a sin offering, twelve male goats. All this was a burnt offering to the Lord.

But burn the bull’s flesh and its hide and its intestines outside the camp. It is a sin offering.

On that day the prince is to provide a bull as a sin offering for himself and for all the people of the land.

“He shall then slaughter the goat for the sin offering for the people and take its blood behind the curtain and do with it as he did with the bull’s blood: He shall sprinkle it on the atonement cover and in front of it.

He is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites—all their sins—and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the wilderness in the care of someone appointed for the task.

The bull and the goat for the sin offerings, whose blood was brought into the Most Holy Place to make atonement, must be taken outside the camp; their hides, flesh and intestines are to be burned up.

“ ‘If the whole Israelite community sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord’s commands, even though the community is unaware of the matter, when they realize their guilt

and do with this bull just as he did with the bull for the sin offering. In this way the priest will make atonement for the community, and they will be forgiven.

Then he is to take off these clothes and put on others, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean.

Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned completely; it must not be eaten.”

But the bull with its hide and its flesh and its intestines he burned up outside the camp, as the Lord commanded Moses.

and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.

just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp.
