Live in temporary shelters for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters
Jacob, however, went to Sukkoth, where he built a place for himself and made shelters for his livestock. That is why the place is called Sukkoth.
We have lived in tents and have fully obeyed everything our forefather Jehonadab commanded us.
