God does not restrain his anger; even the cohorts of Rahab cowered at his feet.

everyone will be put to shame because of a people useless to them, who bring neither help nor advantage, but only shame and disgrace.”

How then can you repulse one officer of the least of my master’s officials, even though you are depending on Egypt for chariots and horsemen?

Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?

it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
