The sons of Moses: Gershom and Eliezer.

“Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.

Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom, saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land.”

So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey and started back to Egypt. And he took the staff of God in his hand.

When Moses heard this, he fled to Midian, where he settled as a foreigner and had two sons.

All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul.

There the Danites set up for themselves the idol, and Jonathan son of Gershom, the son of Moses, and his sons were priests for the tribe of Dan until the time of the captivity of the land.
