David was conscience-stricken after he had counted the fighting men, and he said to the Lord, “I have sinned greatly in what I have done. Now, Lord, I beg you, take away the guilt of your servant. I have done a very foolish thing.”

There was war between Asa and Baasha king of Israel throughout their reigns.

He gave them these orders: “You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the Lord.

May your eyes be open toward this temple day and night, this place of which you said you would put your Name there. May you hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place.

But the eye of their God was watching over the elders of the Jews, and they were not stopped until a report could go to Darius and his written reply be received.

for he views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens.

How foolish! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.

You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? Before your very eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed as crucified.
