His dominion is vast and forever peaceful, Upon David’s throne, and over his kingdom, which he confirms and sustains By judgment and justice, both now and forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this!

I will take delight in doing good to them: I will plant them firmly in this land, with all my heart and soul.

Assyria will not save us, nor will we mount horses; We will never again say, ‘Our god,’ to the work of our hands; for in you the orphan finds compassion.”

Do not fear, O land! delight and rejoice, for the Lord has done great things!

The Lord has removed the judgment against you, he has turned away your enemies; The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst, you have no further misfortune to fear.

But the Lord in its midst is just, doing no wrong; Morning after morning rendering judgment unfailingly, at dawn; the wicked, however, know no shame.

If the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us in to this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey.

But now we must celebrate and rejoice, because your brother was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.’”

Before the feast of Passover, Jesus knew that his hour had come to pass from this world to the Father. He loved his own in the world and he loved them to the end.

“I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.

Since the Lord, your God, journeys along in the midst of your camp to deliver you and to give your enemies over to you, your camp must be holy, so that he does not see anything indecent in your midst and turn away from you. Various Precepts.

Then the Lord, your God, will generously increase your undertakings, the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your soil; for the Lord, your God, will again take delight in your prosperity, just as he took delight in your ancestors’,

Therefore, he is always able to save those who approach God through him, since he lives forever to make intercession for them.
