And they made their hearts as hard as diamond so as not to hear the instruction and the words that the Lord of hosts had sent by his spirit through the earlier prophets. So great anger came from the Lord of hosts:

Those on the path are the ones who have heard, but the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts that they may not believe and be saved.

for no prophecy ever came through human will; but rather human beings moved by the holy Spirit spoke under the influence of God.
