Romans 6:4

We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life.

Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe you will see the glory of God?”

Jesus did this as the beginning of his signs in Cana in Galilee and so revealed his glory, and his disciples began to believe in him.

But God raised him up, releasing him from the throes of death, because it was impossible for him to be held by it.

God raised this Jesus; of this we are all witnesses.

I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your nature. For just as you presented the parts of your bodies as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness for lawlessness, so now present them as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.

God raised the Lord and will also raise us by his power.

For indeed he was crucified out of weakness, but he lives by the power of God. So also we are weak in him, but toward you we shall live with him by the power of God.

So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come.

So I declare and testify in the Lord that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds;

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light,

and have put on the new self, which is being renewed, for knowledge, in the image of its creator.

Masters, treat your slaves justly and fairly, realizing that you too have a Master in heaven. Prayer and Apostolic Spirit.

This prefigured baptism, which saves you now. It is not a removal of dirt from the body but an appeal to God for a clear conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

whoever claims to abide in him ought to live [just] as he lived. The New Commandment.
