I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that I often planned to come to you, though I was prevented until now, that I might harvest some fruit among you, too, as among the rest of the Gentiles.

Although I may not be an apostle for others, certainly I am for you, for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

We do not want you to be unaware, brothers, of the affliction that came to us in the province of Asia; we were utterly weighed down beyond our strength, so that we despaired even of life.

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ and manifests through us the odor of the knowledge of him in every place.

Brothers, in human terms I say that no one can annul or amend even a human will once ratified.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
