The Lord is our God; who rules the whole earth.

Know that the Lord is God, he made us, we belong to him, we are his people, the flock he shepherds.

he once more set a day, “today,” when long afterwards he spoke through David, as already quoted: “Oh, that today you would hear his voice: ‘Harden not your hearts.’”

For you had gone astray like sheep, but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls.
