And now: “Arise, Lord God, come to your resting place, you and your majestic ark. Your priests, Lord God, will be clothed with salvation, your faithful ones rejoice in good things.

“Arise, Lord, come to your resting place, you and your mighty ark.

Lift up your heads, O gates; be lifted, you ancient portals, that the king of glory may enter.

O God, you are my God— it is you I seek! For you my body yearns; for you my soul thirsts, In a land parched, lifeless, and without water.

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

The ark of the Lord had been in the land of the Philistines seven months
