Great is his glory in your victory; majesty and splendor you confer upon him.

You changed my mourning into dancing; you took off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.

Sing praise to the Lord, you faithful; give thanks to his holy memory.

Offer fitting sacrifices and trust in the Lord.

As the deer longs for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.

I will teach the wicked your ways, that sinners may return to you.

I called to him with my mouth; praise was upon my tongue.

Your procession comes into view, O God, your procession into the holy place, my God and king.

Do not let the flood waters overwhelm me, nor the deep swallow me, nor the pit close its mouth over me.

Splendor and power go before him; power and grandeur are in his holy place.

Then Moses said, “Please let me see your glory!”

Return, Israel, to the Lord, your God; you have stumbled because of your iniquity.

I urge you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, your spiritual worship.

I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your nature. For just as you presented the parts of your bodies as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness for lawlessness, so now present them as slaves to righteousness for sanctification.

For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

I am caught between the two. I long to depart this life and be with Christ, [for] that is far better.

Through him [then] let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.

Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed. We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.
