my God, my rock of refuge! My shield, my saving horn, my stronghold, my refuge, my savior, from violence you keep me safe.

A wanderer, food for vultures, he knows destruction is imminent.

Your mercy to me is great; you have rescued me from the depths of Sheol.

Are your marvels declared in the darkness, your righteous deeds in the land of oblivion?

Your right hand, O Lord, magnificent in power, your right hand, O Lord, shattered the enemy.

Ah! How mighty is that day— there is none like it! A time of distress for Jacob, though he shall be saved from it.
