See how the wicked string their bows, fit their arrows to the string to shoot from the shadows at the upright of heart.

My very bones shall say, “O Lord, who is like you, Who rescue the afflicted from the powerful, the afflicted and needy from the despoiler?”

The bloodthirsty hate the blameless, but the upright seek his life.

An abomination to the just, the evildoer; an abomination to the wicked, one whose way is straight.
