Who gives animals their food and young ravens what they cry for.
Moreover, you are to provide yourself with all the food that is to be eaten, and store it away, that it may serve as provisions for you and for them.
Who provides nourishment for the raven when its young cry out to God, wandering about without food?
And gives bread to all flesh, for his mercy endures forever.
Look at the birds in the sky; they do not sow or reap, they gather nothing into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you more important than they?
Notice the ravens: they do not sow or reap; they have neither storehouse nor barn, yet God feeds them. How much more important are you than birds!
