Bless the Lord, all his creatures, everywhere in his domain. Bless the Lord, my soul!

How varied are your works, Lord! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.

Let the faithful rejoice in their glory, cry out for joy on their couches,

For the leader. A psalm of David.

Then I will proclaim your name to my brethren; in the assembly I will praise you:

Lord, you brought my soul up from Sheol; you let me live, from going down to the pit.

Sing praise to the Lord, you faithful; give thanks to his holy memory.

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous; exult, all you upright of heart.

Awake, my soul; awake, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn.

The singers go first, the harpists follow; in their midst girls sound the timbrels.

Let the heaven and the earth praise him, the seas and whatever moves in them!”

Rejoice in the Lord, you just, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Raise a glad cry, you heavens—the Lord has acted! Shout, you depths of the earth. Break forth, mountains, into song, forest, with all your trees. For the Lord has redeemed Jacob, shows his glory through Israel.

Through him [then] let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.

and, like living stones, let yourselves be built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

But you are “a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may announce the praises” of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
