Is it a pleasure for you to oppress, to spurn the work of your hands, and shine on the plan of the wicked?

Your hands have formed me and fashioned me; will you then turn and destroy me?

You would call, and I would answer you; you would long for the work of your hands.

Know that the Lord is God, he made us, we belong to him, we are his people, the flock he shepherds.

good indeed is the Lord, His mercy endures forever, his faithfulness lasts through every generation.

But the Lord’s mercy is from age to age, toward those who fear him. His salvation is for the children’s children

He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit.

Indeed, if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, how much more, once reconciled, will we be saved by his life.

I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work in you will continue to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus.

The one who calls you is faithful, and he will also accomplish it.

As a result, those who suffer in accord with God’s will hand their souls over to a faithful creator as they do good.
