Wait for the Lord, take courage; be stouthearted, wait for the Lord!

The Lord is my strength and my shield, in whom my heart trusts. I am helped, so my heart rejoices; with my song I praise him.

May the Lord give might to his people; may the Lord bless his people with peace!

This poor one cried out and the Lord heard, and from all his distress he saved him.
