Who split in two the Red Sea, for his mercy endures forever;

You stirred up the sea by your might; you smashed the heads of the dragons on the waters.

He split the sea and led them across, making the waters stand like walls.

But the Israelites had walked on dry land through the midst of the sea, with the water as a wall to their right and to their left.

By faith they crossed the Red Sea as if it were dry land, but when the Egyptians attempted it they were drowned.
